1. Make sure your USATF membership is valid, or join as a new member. 2. Click on your membership profile and look for the "athlete verifications" tab, usually on the left side of the screen. 3. Click the blue "Add Athlete Verification" button and follow directions. 4. You cannot register for the meet until this step is completed, so don't wait!
Join us for our annual USATF Alaska Junior Olympic Track & Field championships, which will be co-hosted with the ever-popular Brian Young Invitational all-star high school meet. The event will take place Friday and Saturday, June 5 and 6, 2026, at Colony High School in Palmer.
All competitors in this meet must be USATF members to compete. However, if you are competing in the Junior Olympic portion of this meet, you must register separately at this link and you must also make sure you have completed the age-verification process in your membership.
NOTE: Junior Olympic participation is open to all athletes. Brian Young Invitational athletes are selected by the all-star coaching staffs.

SCHEDULE The schedule for the meet is as follows, and on a rolling schedule: Friday, June 5: Field events begin at 2:30 p.m. with Girls HJ, Boys LJ, Boys Shot, Girls Discus, and Girls TJ Running Events begin at 4:30 p.m. with 4x200 relay, Mile, 100/110H, 100m, 400m, 4x800 relay. Saturday, June 6: Field events begin at 10 a.m. with Boys HJ, Girls LJ, Girls Shot, Boys Discus, Boys TJ Running events begin at 12 noon with 4x100 relay, 300/400H, 800m, 200m, 3200m, 4x400 relay
